Eric Rothaus (Of Counsel)

Eric obtained his J.D. from the University of Colorado in 2001. Prior to joining Rutledge Law Office, he served as a policy advisor to Colorado Governor Roy Romer, and also served as a Colorado Assistant Attorney General. More recently, Eric was Colorado Deputy Treasurer for State Treasurer Cary Kennedy. Eric is a native of Greely, Colorado. He is active in many organizations, including serving as a trustee for the Denver Employees Retirement Plan, the pension plan for City of Denver employees. He is active in the alumni associations of Brown and the University of Colorado School of Law.

Eric practices in the areas of business law, employment, government relations and civil litigation. He has extensive background in appeals, having argued cases in front of both the Colorado Court of Appeals and Colorado Supreme Court. Eric is currently on leave from working with the firm.
